In the materially poor age, people used to be pleased just by being given things. On the other hand, in the age when people can get easily everything they want, some hate to being given because it means that they owe to the one who gives them. Everyone can get happy by receiving what they want, but can't happy by receiving what they don't want. That indicates that society comes to be complexed gradually. Think your hope about your family or your friends. Perhaps, the hopes may be the following; your family or friends are your good partners, being sincere, talking vividly, being quiet, dealing with you more gently ...etc. All of them are different in importance among each people. The kindness of the one who are inable to understand others is equal to obtruding his or her ego. More such kindness the one offers, More people will hate him or her. The one who is capable to understand others can not only notice what the others want promptly, but can also know what is usefull to them like parents. Such a person can continue to please poeple until the future. So he or she will receive sincere pleasure and sincere appreciations. I think that welfare derives from the capacity to understand others. Also on business, if you consider the matter of others as that of myself, you can become aware of various things. Then your mind gradually comes to concentrate on one thing. And you feel as if you can't avoid doing something for others. Then you move to act without notice. There is a basis of business in that.
