| Some people can accurately analyze the causes of the mistakes they
make in life. For such people, the more mistakes they make, the wiser they
become, and they are able to fully develop their talents and skills. There are other people who cannot understand the reasons behind their own mistakes. Little by little, such people become cowards. People who are able to accurately analyze the cause of mistakes when they are about to make them will never make serious mistakes. This is because they fully develop their talents and skills surprisingly fast. There are also people who are able to learn from the mistakes of others and thereby do not make those mistakes themselves. Such people can accomplish things so expertly and smoothly that they might even seem to be geniuses. To illustrate this point, let's consider the approaches of three different types of people each traveling and attempting to reach a destination. The first type of person gets lost trying to reach the destination; the second type realizes quickly when he is starting to get lost; the third type consults in advance with people who have gotten lost before, and so doesn't make the same mistake. Unfortunately, due to their subjective nature, some people don't want to listen to what other people tell them. Even when they are about to make mistakes, they make excuses to themselves and blindly keep struggling on. Consequently, until their mistakes lead them to a dead end, they cannot take action to correct them and don't even acknowledge that they have made mistakes. There are even many people who can't face reality even at this stage. It is often said that science should be studied in the spirit that established theories can be overturned at any time. It's very important that we see and hear carefully with our eyes and ears wide open. |
