The charisma of leaders

All the great leaders of history had exceptional personal charisma.
They lead the people by appealing to their hearts through their charisma. We could even say that history has been shaped by the personal charisma of its major leaders.
Such charisma should consist of a clear sense of purpose and a philosophy whose greatness others feel. It should also create in others' minds a feeling of admiration and make them want to have the same beliefs.
In the case of companies, it's important for leaders to have a firm purpose comparable to a belief and a sense of mission and to pursue one goal wholeheartedly. Subordinates will find a kind of charisma in their leaders and then even find pleasure and happiness in following them.
Leadership is the ability to put everyone together in one boat and to instill in them the same values so that they steer and row the boat in unison in the same direction.
Leaders must inspire faith and trust in their subordinates, like sailors that leave their fate in the hands of their captain. They feel joy in trusting themselves to their captain and are mentally and physically stimulated to work. If workers become like this, their collective capacity will increase manifold due to a multiplier effect, resulting in an enormous creative power.
Another major requirement of a leader is always to responsibly represent his or her organization to the outside world.
This, in other words, is taking responsibility. Taking responsibility means representing everyone in the organization and providing outsiders with satisfaction.
Customers who have ordered work from an organization will assess the results of the work delivered to them very strictly by focusing only on the bad points. They are only interested in the results of the work. However, people without real ability try to have themselves evaluated by the amount of effort they exert, rather than by the results they achieve. Even if a leader of an organization desires to praise the efforts of his subordinates, he or she will have to resist this desire; praise has to be reserved only for the actual results they have achieved with their customers.
In doing this, leaders must always show their strength as men because in a sense their capacity could always be questioned.
Responsibility is an unavoidable fact of any job. People must invest all of their personality and humanity in their work.
Naturally, through the work of leadership, the personality of the leader becomes more polished.

Leadership is the ability to unite members of an organization internally and to enable them to externally express their personalities through their work. The true joy of such leaders comes from the challenge of helping others to feel joy in their work, and from seeing themselves growing as they take on more and more responsibilities.
