| People often say that a profitable business can be discovered by finding
difficulties others are facing and helping overcome them. Among the great men who made history, we find examples who accomplished great feats after recognizing people in difficulty, feeling compelled to do something for them and rising up to save them. As a notable example of this approach, I know a man who, after seeing his parentsf hardships and trying hard to help them, had a flash of inspiration that led him to develop a hit product. He then enjoyed praise as the worldfs No. 1 inventor for years in a row. While animals are crudely self-centered, human beings try to create things and make efforts for the benefit of other humans. And I believe that this is the force behind the limitless development of human society. There are, however, many people who do not do the same as the great men described above. I presume the reason for this is as follows. Although they start out working for the sake of others, they will unwittingly have personal desires. Gradually they come to pretend that they are helping others, while their true motive is personal gain. In the end, such an approach to work will derail them from the tracks of fate. Those who pretend to work for the sake of others and are in fact working for their own profit cannot avoid the accusation of being deceptive. From the seeds of lies only the fruit of lies can be expected. If you have a result you never expected, your luck has turned bad or your good luck has completely run out. From the seeds of sincerity, the fruit of sincerity is produced. I believe that, when a person does not turn his eyes away from people in need and feels compelled to do something for them and in fact tries to help them, that person can be described as truly sincere. In the world, there is never a shortage of people in need. If we are truly sincere, then we will start to see people facing hardships in many different ways. Suppose that there are two kinds of people, those who think, gimperfect though I am, how can I be of some service to you,h and others who think only of their personal gain, then which of the two will fate favor? |
